A computer programming error has resulted in considerable delays in the forwarding of notices for the payment of provisional tax (IRP6) due at the end of February 1999. At present 90% of all notices have been forwarded and the balance of the notices will be mailed no later than 28 January 1999. Provisional Taxpayers will therefore receive their notices before the due date for payment at the end of February 1999. Should this not be the case, duplicate IRP6 forms may be obtained from local Receivers of Revenue.
