To assist East London and King Williams Town taxpayers to submit their personal income tax returns by the 8 July deadline and provide advice regarding general tax enquiries, South African Revenue Service (SARS) consultants will be available across the region in June and July.
These service initiatives are part of this year?s Filing Season campaign that was launched by Finance Minister Trevor Manuel on 23 May this year.
Filing Season help booths, a free service from SARS, will be staffed by consultants at the following shopping malls and community centres:
The SARS East London branch, located at the corner of Station Street and Terminal Street will be open between 07h00 and 16h00, with extended office hours (07h00 to 18h00) between 4 July and 9 July.
